FAU The Florida Atlantic Research Park offers high tech industries the potential for Research and Development, (R&D), and partnerships with Florida Atlantic University.
Introduction

Florida Atlantic University (FAU) formed the Florida Atlantic Research and Development Authority in 1985 with the support of the Broward and Palm Beach county commissions. The R&D Authority is responsible for establishing Research Parks.

Advantages

Besides the great location, there are significant advantages for businesses locating in the Research Park. Research Park partners also will be able to interact with the university community and take advantage of its facilities and expertise. Potential programs of mutual interest include:

  • Applied research directed at the industry partners' specific needs;

  • Customized educational programs;

  • Availability of faculty and students to work for the industry partner on a part-time basis;

  • Industry partners' professional staff participation in advanced degree programs.
