Deerfield Beach Campus

Research & Development Authority

The Florida Atlantic Research and Development Authority was formed in 1985 with the support of FAU, Broward and Palm Beach County Commissions. The R&D Authority, responsible for establishing research parks, formed a partnership with Deerfield Research Park Ltd. to lead in the development of the FAU Research & Development Park at Deerfield Beach.

In addition to the great location, there are significant advantages for businesses locating in the Research Park. Partners will be able to interact with the University community and take advantage of its facilities and expertise. Typical programs of mutual interest include: applied research, directed at the industry partner's specific needs; joint funded research; customized educational programs; availability of faculty and students to work for the industry partner on a part-time basis, and, the participation of the industry partner's professional staff in advanced degree programs.

Location

Conveniently located in Deerfield Beach, at S.W. 10th Street and I-95, the Sawgrass Expressway and the Florida Turnpike are only minutes away. Amtrack and the Tri-Rail commuter train service share a stop less than two miles away. FAU's main campus is only 20 minutes North.
