Research Park Branding

Please help standardize the Research Park brand by using only “Research Park at Florida Atlantic University” followed by reference to the “Research Park” where appropriate.

In 2011, the governing Authority for the Research Park approved the new logo and formally replaced the prior use of “FAU” with “Florida Atlantic University”.

“The significance of expanding ‘“FAU”’ to ‘“Florida Atlantic University”’ lies in the recognition and tenant appeal the Research Park has that goes well beyond the South Florida area where “FAU” is comfortably associated with the University,” said Andrew Duffell, president and CEO of the Research Park.

“The existing tenant roster makes the broad reach for the Research Park / University combination quite evident as it includes one of the top 250 companies on the London Stock Exchange, a Fortune 1000 company and a host of other companies many with headquarters across the United States,” said Duffell. “The university affiliation is an important draw nationally for new tenants and the name change creates an easy to understand but very important recognition that the Research Park is an established university affiliated research park.”

A search of media references prior to 2011 will bring up “FAU Research Park”, Research Park at FAU” and other combinations some of which appear in the Research Park’s older press releases. Please help us by not using these references.
