Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrew Duffell.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I grew up in England, Italy, and Spain and went to university in Scotland before moving to Spain to begin work in tech giant Agilent Technologies. I moved to Florida in 2002 and began my economic development career helping graduates of the US Department of Labor JobCorps program find and keep jobs in South Miami, Homestead, Florida City, and Naranja.
I continued my career in Georgia before returning to South Florida when my wife and I started a family. I began working in Palm Beach County, recruiting domestic and international tech companies to move to our region. With this experience, I then moved to the Research Park at FAU in 2011, and am now celebrating seven years of helping to tell the story of South Florida’s amazing entrepreneurs and faculty researchers and inventors.
